-Comment: Like the classic TV series 3 boys and 3 girls. Unfortunately I haven’t found any pics of the boys bedroom. Again a pink room for the girls. I wonder if the boys still have a bunk bed (I don’t think so). Also interesting two teen girls/young women in the same bed. But that looks like a different location and the girl on the right isn’t blond, so not her sister, maybe a friend.

Unlike the series, this movie is set in the 90s but they still wearing 70s clothes (and 70s furniture and beds).

Rating 4 for now only. I don’t like this movie.

-Comment: There are 2 brothers Simon (David Gallagher, ~11 yo in season 1), Matt 22, and 3 sisters Ruthie 7, Lucy 15 and Mary 14. (Jessica Biel as Mary looking older and plays the oldest sister). Later around season 4 there are the twin brothers Sam and David. Different bedroom constellation, also other actors/locations.

I think I have seen almost all episodes, but didn’t pay much attention to the bedrooms. Season 1-4 had been aired last year.

I think Simon and little Ruthie sharing a room in season 1 (bunk bed, pic 1, Simon on top bunk). But later they have rooms for their own. Lucy and Mary sharing a bedroom. Very funny. Lucy is often angy and once divided the room by a line. But she trapped herself as there’s no door on her side. I think Matt sleeping in the attic. As he left the house all the others asking for that room. The twin brothers also sharing a bedroom, at least as babies and toddlers. I have to check the later episodes.

Very good series, rating ~7, for the bedrooms just rating 4.

Good family fantasy series. Some handsome blond actors in the two kids gangs. 13 episodes. German title “Ein Rucksack voller Abenteuer” English title “A Knapsack Full of Adventures”.

Set in Finland and I don’t remember many bedroom scenes. Looks like a typical 90s bedroom. I think not on DVD yet.

Rating 4-5 for bedrrom, rating 6-7 for series.

-Comment: I think Michael Barry (Sam, left bed)and Christopher Redman sharing this big attic bedroom in s3e12 “The Tale of the Crimson Clown”. There is a shelf as room divider. Many bedroom scenes in this episode including a nightmare (dream of a clown).

Very good mystery series but I have to check more episodes (also of similar series). Also on my overalls blog (boy an teen girls in bibs, rating 8).

Handsome (Canadian) actors (Sam with a bowlcut). Interesting bedroom. 2 brothers in the same room, they can hear each other, not sure if they can also see each other. Not sure about the year of setting. Could also be late 80s.

Rating 7-8 for now. Probably more episodes like this (2 brothers or brother/sister). But I doubt that there are better bedroom episodes.

-Comment: US-American Jonathan Brandis (pictured, 1976-2003, R.I.P.) in this attic bedroom. Wooden bed.

Typical bedroom, I think no siblings. Handsome actor (nominated for a Young Artist Award) and very good speedo and swim shorts (Brandis) scenes at an indoor pool. Even better than the 1984 first part (starring Barret Oliver) I think. Based on the novel by Michael Ende, so I think set in the 1980s, but Fantasy plot anyway.

Entertaining family movie but somehow I don’t like it except the pool scene.

-Comment: Shane Fox in this bedroom. Pic 2 showing his older brother (I think Thomas Aldwinckle) who sleeps at another room. There are also other locations like a girl’s bedroom and maybe other ones like of his friend Ali.

The brothers sleep upstairs. There are 3 doors close to each other. Straight from the stairs the bathroom, then the room of his brother and then Joe’s bedroom. He is currently invisible (see the flying towel).

Very good family series with a handsome actor. Longer haircut in earlier seasons. I think unfortunately not on DVD. But I think rather few bedroom scenes shown. Joe often works in the garage. I also remember some other good scenes like sport, track and field (white shorts) and shower/locker room scene (other shirtless actor).

Very good family film. Also including boys wearing dresses and later shaven heads. I like the end, the military show contest and Peyton Chesson-Fohl (wearing braces).

Rated PG-13. Rather few good bed/bedroom scenes. The first with high sleepers. Also starring Chris Owen (“Angus”).

Bedroom rating 5-6. Movie rating 7.

My Secret Identity

Perfect family series with a teen boy with supernatural powers. I found this pic on one of my old backup discs and I don’t know of which episode. I think this series is unfortunately not on DVD. I would buy it.

Also starring Derek McGrath, Wanda Cannon and Marsha Moreau. Filmed in Toronto so tag non-USA.

Casper: A Spirited Beginning

I especially like the style and the color of this bedroom.

Also starring Lori Loughlin, Rodney Dangerfield and Steven Hartman. Casper, the Friendly Ghost books by Joseph Oriolo and Seymour Reit.

Rating 6. I don’t watch this movie often. I don’t like the animated ghost scenes but that are part of this movie. I like Barrett in later movies like Lloyd (2001).

Lockie Leonard

-Comment: 12 yo (season 1) Lockie Leonard (played by 13 or 14 yo Sean Keenan, left bed) and his younger bedwetting brother Philipp (Corey McKernan) sharing this bedroom. But Lockie had a wet problem himself.

How could I forget this series? I even own one of the books (Human Torpedo by Tim Winton). I searched my old pics for my overalls blog for preparing an unrelated list entry. Philipp also wearing bib overalls in some episiodes (rating 5).

41 episodes, good and funny plot, good brother-brother relationshsip and the life of a teen boy in puberty and his younger brother also showing surfing and friendship scenes. Not sure about the setting. The first novel was published in 1990, but the setting might be even earlier or set in the 2000s.

Although I prefer US movies I give a 9-10 rating.
