Year in film: 1870s, 1880s
Country: USA
Who in bedroom: Laura ~10, Mary ~12 in 1 bed
Kind of beds: 2 Boys. Orphans. Others
Available on DVD: yes
I own: yes, partly TV recording
Rating: 6/10
Rating: ******
Comment: Melissa Gilbert (Laura) and her older sister (Melissa Sue Anderson) sharing I think one bed in the attic of this cabin (also wearing night caps). Not sure if one blanket only. I can’t remember where the two other sisters were sleeping, maybe at the parents. I also have to check the bedrooms of the 3 adopted kids (2 boys, including Matthew Laborteaux) and 1 girl. Also other actors including boys at different locations in other episodes.

2 boys and one girl (siblings) in one room, separate beds ~14 yo Radames Pera (“Kung Fu”), ~12 yo Brian Part and 5 yo sister Kyle Richards (maybe in s2e7, pic 3). 1st pic from s4e14, 2nd pic from s2e6.

I have seen most episodes but can’t remember/find any other bedroom scenes for now. Very good series with boys (and also a teen girl) in bib overalls, see my overalls blog (separate season entries, rating 6-9).

I also remember an orphanage in a later season which was on fire. So more than 4 in a room. Separate beds.

I can’t remember bunk beds, but see also the spin-off Father Murphy (rating 6) with orphans in bunk beds.

I have to check this again later. Rating 5 for bedroom scenes. Good series but I think few (good) boys bedrooms though some famous boy actors.

Update: Also 2 boys sharing a room in s9e1. Also a better view of Laura and Mary and also another girl. Now rating 6 instead if 5.
