Julián Bravo as Juliancito/Tom Sawyer and his younger film brother sharing this small looking room with wooden beds. Nice Mexican adaption.

I only have checked this briefly. I think few scenes of the room.

Also soon on my pigtails blog.

Rating ~7-8. I like this room. Beds are close to each other.

2 boys sharing one bed, probably Tom on left (James A. Osmond) and younger film brother James Jarnigan as John D. Fitzgerald, who also wrote the novels.

Nice 1890s, Western-like setting and clothes, night shirt and barefooted. In pic 2 there are at least 2 beds. On the left. horizontally aligned as well are sitting 2 older boys, one probably Tom, the other maybe a friend?

Also on my bib overalls blog, soon to be updated (rating 7).

For the bedrooms rating at least 6-7.

Needs to be rechecked more carefully.

And yet another post of Gunsmoke. 9 or 10 yo Eric Shea (even younger looking) on left and his film sister played by 10 or 11 yo Pamelyn Ferdin sharing one bed. I don’t remember the location. Maybe not at home. Looks almost like in jail.

Also on my Western blog, rating 4.

6 yo Susan Olsen (Cindy in The Brady Bunch) and 8 yo Mike Durkin sharing this room. Wooden beds and colorful sheets, both quite unusual for a Western.

Night shirts and bib overalls (boy only).

Also on my Western blog, rating 5 and my bib overalls blog, rating 4. They also both starred in s15e6 (Western blog) but I don’t remember bedrooms there.

Often young boys and girls used to share one bed. In s14e14, 2 kids, probably boys sharing one bed (coming soon).

Comment: Johnny Whitaker (pictured) and his half-brother Sid (credited as cousin Sidney on IMDb, played by Joshua Hill Lewis) probably sharing this room. Nice wooden bed. Low posts.

I don’t like Johnny Whitaker with his red curls and don’t like much this musical version.

So I don’t remember more bedroom scenes. Probably there aren’t many.

Also on my bib overalls blog (Tom+Huck+others, rating 6).

For the bedroom rating ~6 as well.

I thought, I already had an entry, but I was wrong. I recently have checked all color episodes of this series for my other blogs.

Pic 1 is from s19e13 showing a typical brass Western bed. Not sure if the boy (William Shriver ?) sleeps here.

Pic 2 showing a completely different lower bed in s17e11. The room somehow looks modern and colorful. Yellow.

Pic 3 below showing I think a girl (Erica Petal) and a boy (Craig Huxley) sharing a bed in s15e14. Maybe also brothers (and sisters) sharing a bed in other episodes (like s14e14).

One of the best Western series. But I have to check the b&w episodes as well.

Many entries on my other blogs.

For bedrooms rating ~4-5 for now.

Some orphaned boys, at least 5 boys including 12 or 13 yo Nat played by Michael Caloz (“Escape From Wildcat Canyon” 1998) in night shirts in this dorm. Set in 1871. Nice pillow fight.

I don’t know the complete movie, yet. But looks verys interesting. Also nice schoolhouse scenes (but probably not showing overalls) and Christmas plot.

Rating maybe 6-7 for now.

Not to be confused with the (related) Canadian TV series of the same year starring Corey Sevier, which also needs to be checked. I also have the 1940 b&w movie, which was the 2nd remake on my sailor suit blog (boy rating 3). Novel by Louisa May Alcott, sequel of Little Women.

Comment: OK. Also a classic here. One teen boy, I think Gene Toler probably in this bedroom. No siblings?

Not sure about the time setting. Should be a Western. But looks more like the 1930s.

Rating 3-4 only.

Update: Little House on the Prairie (f/m)

lhotp-s9e1lhotp-bed

I found 2 boys, maybe brothers sharing a room in s9e1. Beds are horizontally aligned. The other boy in the left bed is darkhaired.

Pic 2 showing a better view of the attic with Laura and Mary sharing one bed wearing night caps (s1e15). Their little sister sleeps elsewhere, obviously downstairs.

Pic 3 showing an interesting Western-like green metal bed in the 2nd post-series movie Little House: Bless All the Dear Children (1984) (set around 10 years later, probably in the 1880s or 1890s).
