Canadian Carter Ryan Evancic in this room in s4e11. Has recently been aired, available still on the Bibel TV mediathek for one day.

Great Oke, LHOTP and Western-like series. Also on my bib overalls blog, rating 5 and my Pigtails blog, rating 6.

I don’t remember all episodes. I think rather few good (bedroom) scenes.

So rating ~4-5 for now only. Handsome actors. Also showing girls.

Comment:
There are 7 siblings or even 8. The main character is a boy called Laurie, ~ 6 yo at the beginning, soon after WWI, played by Stephen Grendon. Semi-autobiographical novel by Laurie Lee (*1914-1997). He has one younger brother, around 1 year younger and at least 2 older brothers. One sister died in 1915. So I think 3 more sisters (in probably another room). Pictured are obviously 2 different rooms. Pic 1 has I think 2 beds, pic 2 just one. Nice metal beds (brass ?).

Pics are set in the late 1910s or ~1920. There are 2 other actors of Laurie as teen boy and young adult. There are also 2 later movies, which also needs to be checked but probably aren’t better.

Interesting movie and bedrooms. Nice farm setting. But the boy is very young.

Rating ~6.

Comment:
The family has 9 kids. I think 7 boys and 2 girls. I think usually 4 boys in one tiny, half of an attic room. So there are at least 2 or 3 more bedrooms. The 2 sisters, around 14+5 yo also shown sharing a bed. Maybe some of the younger brothers also sleep in the girls’ room. Most boys are around 10-11 yo. Oldest ones 12-14. Youngest boy ~5 yo.

Great movie with also other scenes of interest including shirtless scenes, a chubby boy, a boy in bib overalls and others in aprons.

Nice, Waltons-like family and table. But could be better.

Rating 6-7.

More infos and pics on my bib overalls, just updated, rating 6.

One boy, I think 12 yo Jorge Sanz as 8 yo Pepe(?) in this 1911 bedroom with a large, wooden bed and furniture. Not sure, if it’s his room. Nothing much special these days either.

Also on my sailor suit blog (he, rating 4) and my pigtails blog, rating 6.

Alternate title: Valentine. Starring Anthony Quinn.

Rating 4 for this bedroom.

Who in bedroom: Tommo ~9, Charlie ~14
Kind of beds: separate beds, 2 in 1

Rating: 5/10 *
Rating: *****
Comment: The main plot is about 2 brothers, young Tommo 9 or 10 yo and young Charlie, played by Samuel Bottomley and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, but there’s at least one more, very young boy (maybe Frasier Huckle as Jimmy), maybe he’s also sharing this room. At least the grown-up Tommo and Charlie later sharing one bed.

Interesting movie and a very interesting scene of both boys in underwear in a lake (rating 8).

For the bedrooms, rating 4-5 only.

Comment: One boy, I think Luke Ward Wilkinson (not sure, maybe Jack Montgomery ?) alone in this nice, colorful room. The setting is, I think in the 1910s, so very colorful for this early time.

I only have checked this briefly.  Award winning picture book (1995) by Susan Wjciechowski

Also on my bib overalls blog, few scenes, rating 3.

For this bedroom, rating 4-5.

Also soon on my pigtails blog, rating ~7.

Comment:
The main character has 2 older sisters. One (Alina is some years older), so she probably shares her room with the girl Myshka. There are also 2 boys (friend and orphan). I think she don’t had brothers but not sure. Maybe her friend is just like a brother.

However interesting wooden 1910s Russian bedroom with interesting but probably typical metal beds for it’s time. I don’t remember much more. Most scenes are outsides.

Also on my sailor suit blog, rating 5.

Раннее, раннее утро…, English title: Early, Early morning. Loosely based on the autobiographical 1959 novel “Dinka” (Динка) by Valentina Oseeva (Осеева, Валентина Александровна). There is also another 1971 movie about that called Найди меня, Лёня! (Naydi menya, Lyonya!) but I haven’t checked that.

Many white steel beds in this large, vertical dormitory of a boarding school (or reform school). I think mainly older boys. Gian is played by the grown-up Vitali (even by a girl in the 1964 series, I don’t have seen all episodes of that).

Some quite good scenes of boys in sailor suits  (rating 6 on that blog) but few dorm scenes.

Not sure about the setting, I think it’s the 1910s and that’s my first post of a dorm in that decade.

There are better movies. For more infos see my other blog.

Guy Edwards in this yellow sparse bedroom and a wide, dark steel bed.

Had been aired some days ago. Somehow I hoped for better scenes and maybe sailor suits or similar.

I was a bit disappointed. Although he is blond and handsome. He also starred in “The Place of Lions” (1997).

Somehow I don’t like this movie and I doubt that the other version are better.

Rating 3-4 for this single bedroom.

Comment: Aleksei Logunov as Prince Alexei in this wrought iron bed. Scene at 47 minutes.

I checked this bizarre movie for my sailor suit blog (check my Alexei Romanov and Rasputin films list). Although pictured on the DVD cover (rated 7-8 in advance) I haven’t found any sailor suit scenes in this movie but had to check it at high speed.

Aka “The Assassin of the Tsar”. Interesting bed and props and scene; handsome actor.

But no siblings in this room. There are better Alexei movies. But I haven’t noticed any better bedrooms elsewhere.

Starring Malcolm McDowell.

Rating 4-5.
