Rating: *****
Comment: 2 boys (twins Kalle und Kulle, played by Ralf and Rolf Lemcke) sharing this room and a bird. Wooden beds, horizontally aligned next each other. Pillows on the opposite sites. Also both shown in one bed but rarely. Pic from ep 2.

Also on my Lederhosen blog (rating 9) and my bib overalls blog (rating 2).

Episodes 3+4 will be aired next Monday. Episode 4 is set 5 years later. I only have checked ep 3-4 briefly.

I don’t like the 70s and the boys are quite young (in ep 1-3) and not that handsome. But quite interesting bedroom and good family series.

Rating even 5-6.

Comment: Birgit Komanns as boy Kurt in a wheelchair, I think alone in this 1970s room.

Great and famous movie, also with a boy in Lederhosen (other blog, rating 7).

I don’t like much the 70s.

So for the bedroom rating 3-4 only. Novel by Max von der Grün

There are 2 modern, poor sequels, I have the 1st one

Comment:
First I wasn’t sure if this is a boy or girl, but the daughter Sabine is ~24 yo (and probably has a room for her own), so it must be the son Bertie, played by Ulf Schweikhardt (“Die Buddenbrooks (1979)”).

Interesting, late 70s West German bedroom, filmed in 1978. Somehow it looks a bit like East German. I had the same haircut in the late 70s (but a different bedroom).

Rating 4 for this. I don’t like the 70s nor Witta Pohl.

Some, mainly older (teen) boys, maybe orphans in this small dorm. I think at least 4 beds.

I found this some time ago and don’t remember much of it.

Quite interesting, but I prefer US movies and brothers.

So rating 4 for now only.

Correct title: Indiáni z větrova, 1979 novel by Marketa Zinnerova.

Lionel Melet in this dark blue Space-like bedroom. Being undressed by his mom (bib overalls, also recently updated on my other blog, rating 4, showing the room as well). At the end also in bed with a girl (friend, not sister). Scene pictured at 44 minutes. Also the room of the girl is shown (pink and yellow walls).

Also other scenes of interest like in bath tub with his mom.

Nice late 70s film and fashion (tight jeans, overalls, skating).

For the bedroom, rating 4-5 only. Movie rating ~7.

At least 2 boys sharing a room. There are 13 kids on an island on holiday, but I don’t know who sleeps where. The room pictured seems small, so probably only these 2 boys. I found it some time ago and don’t remember. Sorry.

Not bad.

Rating 4-5.

At least one boy in this nice orange yellow 1980 or late 70s room.

Sorry, I don’t remember if there are brothers and 2 or more beds, but I think only one.

Directed by famous Karst van der Meulen. English title The Gang Next Door.

Great movie, also on my bib overalls blog, rating 6.

For the bedroom, rating 5-6.

At least 8 beds in this dorm, I think at a Pioneer camp. The sheets look like carpets (maybe they even are ?). Also other scenes of interest like shirtless scenes (swimming outside at a lake in 70s speedos) and historical clothes.

Russian title: Рядом с тобой. What means: Next to You. Novel by Boris Medovoy. I found this by coincidence.

Rating 4-5. There are better movies.

Eckehard ~10 yo (Stefan Naujokat) and his older sister Ilona ~16 from a single mother sleep in a larger room, dived by a curtain. A younger, blonde boy, Andreas ~6 yo, their future step-brother probably also sleeping there. Wooden, older beds.

Typical East German movie. I don’t like the 70s and the other brother is too young. Interesting room, though.

Rating 3-4 only.

Some single beds but also this dorm (Scottish boarding school) with at least 8, 10 or more beds in 2 rows. Metal beds, but one in the lower row is larger and wooden. Pic 1 from s2e10 (also shown up to s2e13). Starring Simon Gipps-Kent, Peter Vaughan-Clarke and others. Pic 2 from beginning of season 1. Some more beds (future setting, space station and regular setting) like a blue room of a man (same ep like pic 2).

Very interesting series, although I don’t like the early 70s. Also nice kilts, shorts and silver coveralls. And shirtless scenes.

After finding a trailer of Thursday’s Child (soon on my sailor suit blog) starring Simon Gipps-Kent, I found this one.

I don’t know the complete series, yet.

Rating 6 for now.
