The Waltons – Season 7

In s7e1 (set around 1941), Mary Ellen and Erin sharing a tiny loft room and a foldayway bed at a guesthouse. Erin likes this room, but Mary Ellen doesn’t.

I prefer posting brothers bedrooms, but there are very few foldaway beds.

The Waltons also have some other and better scenes at their home, mainly 3 brothers in one room and 3 sisters (rating 8). Also some guest and other constellations.

Update: The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (foldaway beds)

As I only have one entry with a foldaway bed, I searched for some more. It’s called different like wall bed, pull-down bed, fold-down bed and Murphy bed. The latter one with most success.

Most movies and series are classics (b&w) and mainly comedy. The only one of interest with younger actors I found is this.

This pic is from s1e13 (2005) showing two foldaway beds (next each other). Unfortunately not the Sprouse twins but teen girls. London and Maddie (not sisters). This is the room of Maddie (and Mary ?). London who has to stay there, is being trapped and pulled up by the bed.

Very good series rating 6-7. But for bedroom scenes rating 5 only. Main entry (messy room of the boys) at

The pic showing 4 kids at least 2 boys (on the left), probably 4 boys in electric driven, horizontal foldaway beds.

The Kettle’s have 15 kids, but around 6 are grown-ups or older teens. I think some more are females (at least 4 young girls and 2 very young boys). Farm setting first (I didn’t noticed bedrooms of interest there), but here they had already moved to the house-of-the-future. There are 10 different movies (1947-1957). I still have to check most of them.

Quite interesting and my first entry of this kind of beds. One of the most famous boys is Teddy Infuhr. Some very good other scenes including jeans and overalls (partly in other movies, soon on my other blog).

Rating 5-6 for this modern bedroom. Funny and rare but I don’t like it that much.

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

Who in bedroom: Zack, Cody ~13 (s1)
Kind of beds: separate beds, foldaway

Comment: Twins Cole and Dylan Sprouse sharing this messy bedroom in this hotel.

I had problems finding good bedroom scenes. Either few bedroom scene or showing only some parts of it. I have to check this again later.

Very good series and of course handsome actors. Aka “Hotel Zack & Cody”. See also “The Suite Life on Deck” on my overalls blog (rating 6).

For bedroom scenes rating 5 for now. Series rating 6-7.

Update: 2 foldaway beds but teen girls

Comment: I think the three youngest Walton brothers shared one bedroom with a single bed each. John-Boy had a room of his own. In later seasons it might change a bit. Sorry this is not the best pic not showing all beds. I don’t remember all scenes of all episodes and will update this later. I don’t remember what episode the pic shows, probably from season 5 or 6. I think the 3 girls also shared one room. There are also other bedrooms (of a I think single teen boy in s2e18) and a young boy is in one of the Waltons bedroom in season 8. I still don’t know season 9 yet.

More infos on both my other blogs, especially on my bib overalls film blog (rating 10, + separate season entries and some story entries).

Update: I’ve checked the first DVDs of most seasons. I think I have to make separate entries as there are different constellations, different locations and non-Waltons rooms.

In season 1 Jim-Bob and Elizabeth sharing one room. There’s also a funny scene with all kids at John-Boy’s bed (Jim-Bob, Elizabeth and Ben under the sheets).

2nd pic showing John-Boy’s room in s1e2.Very good scenes in season 2 (3 beds in the boys and girls room each)

Separate entries

Update: One more boy (teen orphan) in the boys’ room in s2e8 and one orphan boy in s2e20. 4 beds but not all are shown in beds, only Jim-Boy.

Update 2: British orphan girls and boy sharing one bed (s6e1)

Update 2: There’s a foldaway bed (or 2) at a guesthouse in season 7 (Mary Ellen and Erin).
