At least one boy in this bedroom. I think set in East Germany in the 1970s.

Has been aired some days ago, but I haven’t seen it.

Interesting movie and handsome boys and nice PE scenes, but boys are quite young.

For the bedroom rating 4-5 only. Movie rating ~5-6.

Also on my pigtails blog, rating 5.

Update: Stapelbed (Villa Achterwerk)

stapelbed1989

I finally found my tape and added this pic to it’s entry.

There were even much more kids in this bunk bed: 13. Many headshots. Kids are quite young ~8-10 yo.

Kids (boys and girls in pajamas and other nightwear) entering this rare bed, one at a time. Then they talk about one subject and their feelings. At the end there’s a pillow fight, also to the lower bunk, and a male voice says, that they should stop or he comes upstairs. Should be the dad?

VPRO production. Just in 1989.

Main entry, rating 5

One boy, I think 12 yo Jorge Sanz as 8 yo Pepe(?) in this 1911 bedroom with a large, wooden bed and furniture. Not sure, if it’s his room. Nothing much special these days either.

Also on my sailor suit blog (he, rating 4) and my pigtails blog, rating 6.

Alternate title: Valentine. Starring Anthony Quinn.

Rating 4 for this bedroom.

A nice room and an interesting, wooden high sleeper of the main character Karl, played by Jonas Holdenrieder.

Has been aired yesterday, available on the ZDF mediathek.

First I thought of a bunk bed. No desk below as usual but pillows, so someone can sleep below him.

In the original 1966 novel, the main character is 11 yo and has 9 yo twin brother and sister. I think no siblings here but friends. English title: The Little Ghost, Swiss German: S’Chline Gspängst. Also starring Uwe Ochsenknecht.

Great movie, handsome kids nice plot and setting, rating 6-7. Unfortunately only few and brief bedroom scenes. Also soon on my pigtails blog.

One older teen boy and one younger boy sitting on the same bed in part 2. Not sure about their names. I think Andreas Polizia as 10 Siggi on the right? (or is it the 19 yo Siggi on the left?). I haven’t noticed a dormitory although it’s part of the plot.

I expected much more. I think, I’ve read, that the novel is much more of interest but maybe it’s a different one?

Also on my pigtails blog, rating 5 (girls and young lady).

Comment:
I think this is Francisco Nascimento (rear bed) and maybe Antonio Pedro Figueiredo in this room. Not sure if they usually share this room. Setting probably in the 1980s, but the white metal bed looks much older (more like the 1920s or even earlier).

The scene might look very interesting, but there’s just a very brief scene, the younger boy first sitting on his bed.

Quite interesting movie, but there are even better movies from Joaquim Pinto. Only one younger teen boy here. English title: Where the Sun Beats.

I’m still searching for my unknown Italian assumed coming-of-age film, unknown #9 on my sailor suit blog. I also have checked “Uma Pedra no Bolso” once more completely as it looks very similar. Can someony exclude “A Idade Maior”(1991) ?

Rating 6 for this one.

At least one, simple wooden bunk bed and also at least 3 more separate beds (not sure if in the same room but probably). 2 beds are wooden as well, one bed is a simple guest bed out of steel. Is this inside the hotel Nautilus? There’s also a plot of a summer camp outside and a tree house and 2 kid gangs.

There are maybe 2 brothers (regular) sleping in the bunk bed. Some other beds are probably taken from other rooms.

I don’t know/don’t remember the complete movie. English title: I Didn’t Do It!

Also on my bib overalls blog (girl, rating 6) and soon on my shiny shorts blog, rating ~5.

I like bunk beds, but I think few good bedroom scenes if any.

So rating 5-6 only.

One shirtless, darkhaired boy (Neil ?) in the upper bunk and his boy cousin who visits him in pajamas, hiding his neurodermatitis. Nice boys’ talk.

I think the darkhaired boy has an older sister. I wonder if she usually sleeps in the lower bunk. I doubt it. Or is it empty or has he brother who is away?

I don’t remember other episodes and have one other entry, rating 3.

Comment: Benny (Martin Versluys) alone is this room, also at night, but also shirtless together with a light blonde boy in pic 2. Probably this is his brother (in real life) Wil Versluys. Perfect, but brief scenes and great plot.

Also on my bib overalls blog (girl, rating 6 and Benny in coveralls).

Rating 10, at least TOP rank #3.

Update: Les allumettes suédoises

allumettessuedoises-n3allumettessuedoises-n2

I have rechecked the complete series (rating 8).

Next to the great scene of Olivier and his Jewish friend David sharing one bed, there are also dorm scenes in ep 1 and ep 3 (ep 3 pictured). At least 12, probably some more beds in the dorm. Episode 1 has only or mainly dark scenes.

Also now on my bib overalls blog (rating 2, in fact an old man only but Olivier and a woman in blue aprons). Also soon on my pigtails blog.

German Wikipedia says 12 yo Olivier in 1932, French Wikipedia says 10 yo in 1930. Maybe in the novel only? Actor is 14 and/or 15.

Great series, main entry
